aYyo!

I searched the forums and found nothing. Do any of you MM gurus have the part number for this little gem? I need to get one as my mats get up under my pedals.

You might want to PM Ray "The Dealer" but I think that is part of the carpet.

I have a 300B and the little "Chingas" holdfasts for the floormats on both the driver and passenger side. :D Maybe they took them off the 2004's when they weren't looking. ;)

I agree. It is available from the Ford and Lincoln Mercury parts counter. I needed one for my MM.

Most mfg's call them 'floor mat retainers'.

I doubt chinga will show up in the catalog.

Thanks for the replies guys. I will hit up my Ford Dealer to see. Im Sicilian and even we paisans use chingas' ( literally it means " You ****** ")

They must of on the '04 passenger side.

My mistake .... I don't have one on the passenger side either. :o Just went and looked ..... could have sworn there was one there. Of course, I don't sit on the passenger side very often. :D

Usually these come with the floor mat set, not the car, unless the car came factory with the mats (pretty uncommon). It's driver's side only, to stop the mat from going forward up under the gas pedal. (I'm a former dealer tech)

The idiots at the car wash keep trying to rip mine out of the damn carpet - takes 'em 10 seconds or so to figure out why they can't pick up the floor mat.

Speaking for myself, It's not. 300Bs have it, '04s have it.

I would think the lawyers would have something to say about decontenting this, since it appears
to be there to keep the floor mat from sliding forward where it could hang the throttle wide open.
(Had this happen on my '85, btw. Floor mats promptly went into the trash...)
