Back to normal and a question

Took my Marauder down the track for a run and it's back to normal. I was a little shocked when I ran a 16.0 until I asked my friend to get out of the car and I ran a 15.6. Pretty normal and at the track I went to sense I always seem to run slower times at this place and the car was running for about 3 hours plus it was humid so I guess I had a few set backs. Other then the slow time... I mean stock time... this car is back to where it was. The best run I ever made was a 15.1 without a tune or anything prior to the new engine. We'll see what happens.

One questions though. Do I need a tune to get my 4:10 gear to work with the engine properly or can it just be installed and be fine? Yes I know the speedo will be a bit off, but I just wanna install the gear right now. Thanks.

Without the tune, you will be the same et's

Yes you need a tune to run any gear besides 3.55s...

A tune will adjust the transmission shift points, and raise the rev limiter, which will deliver more power to the wheels. If you want the full benefit of the 4:10s, get a tune after the install.
