Check ebay. I have 6000k H1 HIDs in my fog lights. The work is a real pain to get them in the foggies. The headlights are pretty common. Check for 9007 HIDs on ebay. Most kits are plug-n-play.

I'd recommend McColluch balasts. That's what I have.

Colors:
5300k = almost pure white
6000k = white with very slight purple/blue...same as Lexus.
7000k = a bit more purple/blue....same as Acura.

Anything more and you lose the effectiveness of the light and just becomes bright colors. I think you can get as high as 12000k which is super dark purple. :)

I have a kit off eBay that I paid $210 shipped to my house. It was for my '95 CV, but I had to buy the 9007 bulbs for $60/pair. Took me and my father a few hours to install them. We hid the ballasts very well too. Mine are 8000k bulbs.
