Well I just installed my K&N Air Charger today that says I will gain 17rwhp which I think is a load of crap, but that intake gives the car a mean roor now... I love it. Does anyone else have it and know if they lost more that .1 at the race track?
Also I hit 100,000 miles about 500 miles ago. I still love this car. :banana2:

Likewise I doubt you will see such gains, the stock Marauder air path is one of Fords best designs ever. However, a professional dyno tune can bring out the best in any induction kit.
It's the RWTQ improvement you need to keep an eye on, it's torque that moves the car and cuts your ET. The RWHP gains come into play in the second 1/8th mile, watch your MPH gains from that point.
Sounds badazzed though, enjoy.

Yep very true, when I 1st raced my MM in the 1/4 mile I had rear exhaust delete with side pipes off the H and was trapping a faster speed then the guys running .2-4 secs faster then me. I lost tq but gained top end hp. An engine is a air breathing machine the more air you stuff in it the better but you have to be able to get that same air out.

I have it, love the look and sound. Every time I have something done to the car, I have it dyno tuned. I did some baseline numbers on the dyno before the K&N, and I did some after. Averaged out to be 7rwhp, and 10 rwtq after the install. Better than nothing. But if you have the K&N and you don't have a chip or a dyno tune, you might not see much improvement at all.

Yeah I have the K&N intake and I love it. I really roars when you punch it. You will find not much inprovment in hp but you will get better gas mpg. Enjoy it.
