Yeah, I thought is belonged here too, but that's okay. May get some the folks just west of us (hint hint to Iowa guys) willing to take a drive?

I want to be there, won some neat stuff last year. But, I can't say I will make it right now. My #1x has been sold, and my #3 isn't worthy of a car show right now. But, I have a week to work in the engine bay, let's see if I can pull a miracle out of my hat?

"Anudder"...Hehehe, you're a nut Lou...

Probably Dude,
I got to work and the Windy City MM'ers, are not big on Dragracing.
Especially, if any "heavy hitters" will be there.

This was a really cool event with pretty much every type of car running, including jet cars (5.6 at 281mph). For an admission price of 15 dollars it can't be beat. I think to run your car down the track it was 25 but I'm not sure, and all the proceeds went to charity. Also MM.net member Da'law was there with his Marauder matching up against a Mustang.

ex00p71,

Glad I got to meet you, after which I beat my buddy in his 'stang, so I consider you to be good luck. Had a great time sorry more could not make it.

Got 3 runs down the track before my buddy got a SWAT call out and had to leave. My best time was 14.8 at 94.5 mph. Once I figure out how to work the scanner I will try post my slips.
