My 3yr./36K ended in May of this year, by miles.
A while back, I noticed some greasey residue leaking out of the mulitfunction switch(wipers and turn signals).
The switched functioned fine, so I did not bring it in for repair/replacement.

The wipers only work on high now.
If anyone has this issue, with the grease leaking out, go get the switch replaced.:twocents:
I'm still very fortunate, that I had wiper function, because it's been raining like crazy here, and the last coat of "Rain-X" is not doing the trick.

Bradley,

I have had two of these switches and both had the residue.....they simply over did it at the factory.....just take a Q-Tip and clean it up!!

The grease has nothing to do with the functionality of the switch just keeps it slicked up!!;)

I am not disagreeing with you MJ, the following morning, the wipers worked fine.
They still work on all speeds, Except they don't park, when you turn them off.

Need new wiper motor. I brought my MM in for some warranty work to get the cowl replaced (it was cracked) and when I started it and turned on the wipers to get rid of the rain the wipers only worked on high and wouldn't park. The dealer siad this was a common problem and replaced the wiper motor.

The dealed replaced my multifunction, switch per my request to solve the "no park" issue.
the wipers, still don't park, but my leaky switch was replaced.
