Upgraded the fuel rails and injectors today in preparation of the final blower assembly. Man, this -8AN stuff is almost art when installed! Here is one of the pictures and the rest can be VIEWED HERE (http://john.frieltek.com/toomanyfords/marauder/gmc671/phase4/).
Cheers!

You better be careful that the Fox doesn't eat those great looking parts -- he looks hungry!

I know what you mean. I -swear- that car inches closer to that table during the night. Good thing I'm there in the morning to back him up!
I am really all excitied for next week too! The remaining parts will be here Monday and I can begin final assembly and turn the key. I still have to work out the throttle linkage adapter but I do have a plan. There won't be much left of the upper plenum when I'm done but it be functional.

When do you plan on turning the key? Later part of the week, or what? This thing has been a long time coming hope you don't have any interferences between the finish line that is so close.

Looking good. I guess I'll be heading up this weekend to put that hole in your hood. :D

And for tuning?
Don from LaSota Racing has already done the initial tunes for me. It will be close enough to drive it to get the final tuning done.

Don's very capable. I'd be very confident having Don do the tuning.

I am guessing he should make 2,000+ rwhp. Measured on a Honda dyno of course.

John:
Are you still going to make SSHS6 in Atlanta on November 4? We all want to see this beast run and eat some Impala.

All I have left to do is bolt some < quote > LASERS < quote > to it and I'm all set!
But seriously, I am planning on attending both. Racing, probably not. Unless you volunteer to trailer it to MVIV and then back to Iowa if it breaks...
