Those of you who have gutted the stock pcv valve on your centri cars did you just pry out the insides like a shellfish, or is there a more subtle way to go about this :D

That's about it. Pop off the screen and the valve and spring will fall out. Enjoy with a little lime and salt.

I did this and regretted it.
The amount of oil sucked in the blower is not worth it.
Dont do it.

I'm reversing the flow actually, putting the cobra pcv on the drivers side, and rendering the other side to air via a seperator canister. I know people say breathers suck and all but honestly the amount ofoilthat was in my blower and pipes the other way seems just as bad in all honesty...

Steeda has an Oil Seperator kit that they use on supercharged Mustangs. I'm sure this kit could be used on boosted MM's to keep oil from getting sucked into the intake.

Hmmm, how much boost are you producing?

Not sure your idea is going to be a solution for you, A.J., but why not rule it out? Only a few bucks for the valve.

Yup I have the valve I put it over on the drivers side and I connected it to the intake manifold. the passenger side I put onto an oil separator to a canister with a breather on it...

That's the setup I am running with my ProCharger and it works fine!!

The PC setup was running vent lines from both valve covers to the intake side of the blower.....This would vent crank case pressure but would not sweep the crank case like a PCV system is supposed to.:shake:

No oil in the blower or lines and no leaks (yet) so I guess it is working as it is supposed to!!:bows:

Good Luck!!

Don't know about cleanup since I never had an oil problem from the start!!
