It's time to do it again. The Chevy guys have invited us out once again. We had such a good time the last time I would like to see more of us enjoy it again.
What: 4-Door, 4-Thousand Pound Shootout II
Where: Milan Dragway
When: October 26th: 6:00pm-9:00pm
Cost: $50.00 Race as much as you want, $5.00 for spectators
All Four Sedans are invited as long as they are Four Thousand Pounds. This will include the Marauders, Impalas, Chrysler LX platform (300, Charger, Magnum), as well as the Cadillac cars.
This will be the second meeting of the Northern Four Thousand Pound Four Doors. We are hoping for a big turnout for this event so we can grow this into a Northern HeavyWeight Shootout for next year.
All members of this site are welcome to attend.

Can't make it this time, but will definitely plan for next year as I will be single by then (and hopefully more done to the car by then). Might have to make a long week out of it and have Lidio do some work while I am out there.

This is off the MISSL site (Impala site):
Well, do to a not so good weather outlook and a possible low turn out, This event has been officially CANCEL......
Yes I know it a terrible thing but its beyond my control.
Thank-you all to those whom participated in the first shoot-out.
I'll keep you posted on next years schedule.
Please pass this information along.
Thank-you

Dang! I was all set to drive the Marauder to work tomorrow and hopefully get out in time to make it out there! Looked at the forecast earlier and it was supposed to be nice. I was looking forward to it since I missed the last FME night at Milan and Lidio's day at Ubly.

So sorry Tyrone. I wished that you had checked here before you made that trip. I know that today was a wash too. We will be working with the Impala guys to bring another event in the early spring.

Yep
Rained out, but I got to check out the car haulers at the local trailer site.
Went to Norwalk a day early cuz last years day was posted.stayed over a day and got rained out too.
Headed to MVIV and decided to try and make SSHS6 in Atlanta on the way .
Got to the track at 6:10pm. Racing ended at 6.
I am having a great time though. I have the Marauder on the trailer in FlA and am going to Gainsville on FRI.
Too much fun for an old Rookie.
