There was a guy on the Lightning boards (f150online.com) that used to give them out but I just did a search and saw that he can't do it anymore. But there still seem to be a few who have them you just have to ask. Try joining over there or maybe over on svtperformance.com

X-plan is a discount given to people that work at automotive supplier companies like me. I bought a 2004 Mustang GT at the end of 04 and had 3k off from Ford rebates and 3k off with the X-plan, 6k total was not bad. I traded the car for the MM, best thing I did!!:D The plan veries on how much off by the car and how much it costs.

If you go over to Blueovalnews.com, they have a whole section dedicated to asking for X-plan pin numbers. They feel if everyone gave out as many pins as they could, they will boost Ford's sales numbers.

A-plan is for Ford Employees and their immediate family only. ie mother(step), father(step), brother(half & step), sister(half & step),grandmother and grandfather; everyone else qualifies for X-Plan.

I'll be looking at getting a California Special in the next 45-60 days, would that purchase qualify to use an x-plan pin? If so, can anyone oblige? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Today, I asked my local Ford Service Manager if I could get an X-Plan PIN from him. He will make some phone calls monday for me. Meanwhile, I got the following from a Ford Website:
Friends and Neighbors Program
The New Vehicle Purchase Plan for Friends and Neighbors Plan is offered by the Ford Motor Company to encourage employees and retirees to promote Ford Motor Company products among their friends and neighbors. This programs exclusive discount pricing on certain Ford Motor Company products.
Through the X-Plan, Ford Motor Company employees and retirees are allocated four personal identification numbers (PINs) per year that they may give to eligible friends and neighbors to purchase discounted vehicles. Friends and neighbors are eligible for the X-Plan if they are ided and sponsored by a Ford Motor Company employee or retiree before visiting a dealership. Friends and neighbors wishing to participate in the X-Plan may not discuss a retail purchase of a vehicle at a dealer prior to applying for an X-Plan.
For additional information on the X-Plan, friends and neighbors should contact any Ford Motor Company employee or retiree.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also found that the price of a FMC car is 4% higher than the A-Plan offered to employees and retirees (invoice I believe). Still a lot lower than MSRP if you want something that was just introduced, like a 2007. If you buy a leftover 2006, you can probably make a better deal not using the X-Plan.
Example. I was offered an 06 Lincoln Zephyr;
$35240 MSRP (car was loaded)
$32581 Invoice
$31581 E-Price to me with the $1000 rebate.
I turned it down, not that it was a bad price, but if I go for a leftover 06, I want a bigger rebate than a $1000.
Am waiting for the right loaded 07 Lincoln MKZ (same as Zephyr) to hit a dealer. If I can get it with the X-Plan, it will still be a good price, and if there is a $1000 rebate on it, all the better.
I also found out that dealers do not have to honor the X-Plan. Its up to the dealer, not something they must do. Been told to look at the invoice price and do the math.
Dealers are still making money on this because they will get the "Holdback" from FMC.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
BTW, when I say Loaded, what I really mean is the MKZ must have only two extras;
Must have the Moonroof, and the GPS Navi.
Will accept Chrome Wheels (I like the regular wheels better) and the Heated/Cooled Front Seats. (With all the little vent holes in the seats, I can see problems with dirt and crud getting in there, and when cleaning the light colored seats, I see the holes getting darker)
I do not want the HID Headlights (cost of replacement is very high) (I like the stock Quarts Iodine Headlights) and also do not want the Brushed Aluminum Trim vice the stock woodgrain maple trim in the interior.
As you may figured out, I no longer special order cars. Only buy from dealer stock. The last two times I ordered cars, I got burned, because they were not just the way I ordered. Factory has an out, with the fine print that says words like they can change specifications at any time. (Not exact words, but you get the idea).
