Well, I sold my van and it left me with a few xtra bucks so I gave Mr. Reinhart a call...

Tom, (marauderTJA) you jerk, you talked me into the 4.10's and the torque converter. So, I just had to get the Art Carr Level 2 trans work and the aluminum drive shaft, too. :D

While the tranny is out, she'll get the cooling mod. While we're in the motor, she'll get Densos and a 180 stat.

To help keep all that under control, PHP control arms should help and KVR stainless lines will join my existing brake upgrades. Maybe, if I'm a good boy and/or get some overtime between now and when the parts come in, I can throw the Addco front and rear bars into the mix, as well.

I've already got an Acufab Throttle body with a JLT intake and GMP COPs as well as a Steeda crank pulley and a custom exhaust. I can't wait to see how this all turns out! :coolman:

You will get a real KICK out of the 4.10s. Even tho I am S/C I would say the biggest driveability change I made was the gears. That and a tune made the car feel like a performance sedan and not a Luxo-barge.

Let us know what you think when you take first ride after the changes !

Congrats on selling the van. I just my set of 4.10s in to be installed at later date. Keep us posted on your progress.

At 19,000 miles I had DR add a 4.10 gear, SCT tune, Denso plugs and 180 stat. I now have 39,000 and can tell you that it was the best thing I have done - car wise - not including buying the MM new in 2004.

I have punked every car that has wanted to "go at it" on the road - including my Dad in his 2005 Carrera... even a sucker on a Harley V-Rod. The only car that has got me to date has been a Maserati V-12.

When the car shifts from first to second is when you can say "Good bye" to all challengers. My MM is a Beast! And it's got a big trunk.
