.... a daily driver. That's right, I got an itch yesterday for a daily-beater (blame Tallboy for this idea). So, I went out and purchased a new 2006 Lincoln Mark LT. I figure I can be a little bit more liberal with where I venture and park this vehicle, additionally I'll save the miles from the Marauder.
As of now, the Marauder is now a full-time pleasure vehicle and race car. :)
Another good thing is that I can use this truck to trailer it to various places, such as the heavy-weight shoot out next year ;)

Oh so people actually buy thoose Lincoln F-150s? j/k Nice purchase Rick. It's kinda funny though. First Tim bought his Ram, then Cobra decided he needed one, and you totally one upped both of them with a Lincoln truck. For a second there I thought your car was totalled when I read the title. Had me scared for a second.

Thanks everyone! It really is a nice truck. It rides VERY well. Although, I think it could use a little weight gain... maybe 9.5 lbs to be exact. Hmmph...

Trilogy is giving away a supercharger for this truck (and F150's) at the NHTOC.COM site for a Juvenile Diabetes raffle. You have the touch, so...
Definitely you want to get an Xcalibrator2 with a tune for this truck. I got one last weekend with both an 87 and 93 octane tune. Worth every penney. Lidio sells them, and I beleive Reinhart does as well. If you are coming to the shootout, I can hook you up with an Atlanta source.
Don't bother putting on a K&N or other type of cold air intake. Other than looks, it's been proven pretty much comprehensively on the F150 and Lightning boards that there is no true meaningful HP gain on the the F150 CAI kits, unless you are running a supercharger.
Depending on how you drive, you may want to put on a Hellwig antisway bar. Maybe both.
There is an excellent Magnaflow kit for this truck, and DynaTech makes a great header kit.
Great truck, aint it?
Rick,
Beautiful truck! Many years of safe pampered driving. You can dole all the punishment out on the other Silver Beast!

Tell the truth, you just vinyl wrapped the MM to look like a truck. It's still a nice looking beast.
