The thread has posts from a rep from Accufab who wants to know about any problems from owners. Seems there was a bushing problem that's solved now. Nice to have a source to go to with a manufacturer.

This is the Story

I just wanted to introduce myself. I was talking to Sean yesterday (blackMach) about a problem that he was having with his Accufab TB and he suggested that I get on this board and be avaialble for any customers (or non customers) that might also be having issues with their TB's, Accufab or other brands. So, here I am, and I promise to check in on this site every day during the week. If anyone needs to speak with me directly, give me a call anytime Mon through Fri, 7:30 AM through 4:30 PM, and ask for me, George Klass.

Anyone who has been to ANY Fun Ford Weekend Events should know George. He's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet...he usually runs Tech Inspection and the True Street (as well as LOTS of other things during the weekend).

Whew. Worried me there for a sec. I do have an Accufab and have no problems. What a cool dude to be so available. I'm so lucky to have purchased such well-supported parts.

My Accufab TB would stick open at WOT and also hold partially open at @1800 rpm in gear.

I checked all the cables and linkage and all looked 'OK'.

I ended up lightly lubing all the pivot points and have not had any problems since then.

Maybe I've got the 'bad' bushings..?? :dunno:
