Just got 4 new tires and wanted to warn everybody if your close to needing rears, buy them now. Tire Rack is on back order again and has no date as to when BF Goodrich will begin production again. I was lucky to get them at a local distributor who had 4 in stock, so they are down to 2.

THANK YOU!

I hated to order from somebody other than Tire Rack since they are a sponsor, but I hate screwing around with this tire availability issue even more. Discount Tire just let me order fronts and rears. They're a few bucks more on the fronts than Tire Rack's special price, but with free shipping it's about a wash.

I'm pretty sure I'll need fronts before long and the rears are so much fun to wear out I think I'll just keep a set in inventory!

Again, thanks for the heads up.

I just bought two fronts and two rears from my dealer. Good prices, beat every local tire store I checked with.

Discount Tire just called me... they've got the rears on back order too. I didn't notice that info on their website but that was my fault because I wasn't looking in the right place!

What size Nittos and do you have any T/C issues with those on? Thanks!

255's up front and 295's on back--no T/C issues....only concern on mine the rear will rub the OEM shocks if air pressure is below 33 Lbs....so I keep a look out for that by a painted stripe on the inside wall of the tires and guage of course.....

On the stock wheels? That's pretty cool. What are the full specs for the fronts and rears? And which model Nitto? 555's?

I'll post up the exact sizes I run later when I get home---I can't remember exactly--so to be correct--I'll wait till then---the front wheels are stock and the max width it can take is the 255's----fit ok---my rears are widened to 9.5 inches......check back after 4-4:30 PM.

They are still Z rated--note the ZR rating--the W refers to the width size

Those look pretty good and not as low profile as I had thought. Someone had noted they are shorter than the 255 series, wonder how close they are the the stock 245's in over all height. And I wonder if those rears would fit on the stock wheels. Anyone know if the 295's would fit on the stock wheels or is that too much and needs the widened stock wheels to work right? I would love to shove more tire in front and rear, but on the stock wheels.

1. No -the rears (305's shown in my gallery) will not fit on the stock rims.
2. The 295's require widen rims --minimujm 9.5--I recommend 10
3. To add more tire in front and rear...you can go up to 255's on the OEM wheels.....I put 45's all around after checking all responses from folks here--it works well--but its a good idea to have your computer in-puted with that size so your speedo is ok----same as you would do if you changed your gears ......

Nitto makes the 420S in stock 18 size 255/55/18.

After driving my car with the 420S in 255/45/20, Reinhart said they are "very grippy".

They are wearing excellently for me and I have super confidence with them in the rain.

I just ordered my second set of KDW2 from Tire Rack. I got about 13k miles on them and they are really close to being bald, but they served their purpose and really stuck to the ground. It's a shame they keep me from going up north in the winter, but Florida winters can't be beat.

I must be easy on tires. I have put about 11000 on them so far and they still look newish. Wearing much better than the OEM style did. But, I have done no burnouts, rarely any wheelspin, only occaisionally chirp 'em. Just too much dang traffic!!

Just to be clear, you're not talking about this tire are you? It looks like an off road truck tire to me, and ruins the look of the Marauder, in my opinion.

Yep, these KDW2 enhance the look of the Marauder, with it's more aggressive looking tread and sticky compound. For the buck, I haven't found a better high performance tire. With all this tread on the ground they put out some serious smoke during a burnout.

I can't see the tires from the driver's seat. :)

Some people love the way they look, some hate it. Doesn't seem to be any middle ground.
