Spoke with Brett from Autometer, they will not be producing any products tailored to the MM at this time. Apparently, there are not enough MMs on the street yet, maybe next year.

It was to be a moot point anyway, our "interested" numbered 16, and 80 percent of the e-mails suggested changes, and splits in the offering. Oh well, maybe next year...

Meanwhile can anyone here help me look into compatability issues? Autometer makes an A-pillar gauge panel and a steering column mount for the '97-'01 F150, and '99-'03 Super Duty, as well as a steering column mount for the '94-'02 Mustang. Anyone here familiar enough with these cars to wager a guess if the A-pillar or steering column could fit the MM?

if you don't have a catalogue, look here. The F-150 a-pillar is on page 21 and the steering column pos is on page 16 in the Aguge Works section.

Yes, thank you. This was an attempt to get an A-Pillar made for the MM, as well as a center pod with 3 gauges to replace our two and cig lighter, for a cleaner oem look.

The 99-02 Ford Super Duty automatic steering column pod will work. Also, some sad news. On page 26 of the July issue of MM&FF it sates that Lincoln Mercury has announced that it is cancelling the Marauder program, although they will be filling all the current orders.:(

That's too bad, because they'd be smart looking gauges that other's might also be interested in

Maybe the Poll just had too many choices.

Thank you all for your posts here.

Some of you have taken the time to read the history on this, some of you have not. Some of you have been supportive of the drive to effect change, some of you haven't taken the time or made the effort to read up on the parent issue.

Either way, AutoMeter has spoken and we are on our own. Mod your gauges as you see fit.

Sarge thank you for your efforts. Autometers response is disappointing but not unexpected. Perhaps we can cobble together a workable solution. I am on vacation in Florida thru 5/31 but will call you to discuss when I return.

the console setup would have been sweet, too bad:(! I like the idea of going with logans setup and adding an angle ring............theres potential there:up:
well if they ever do make one, ill be in line to buy one.

Yes, that's in the "Thunder Road" op-ed page. Doesn't he also wax on about how Mercury should go the way of Oldsmobile and Plymouth?
Until there is an actual Press Release from Ford, it's completely unsubstantiated.
