Headcount for Marauderville

Well, time is approaching for us to figure out who is going and how are we planning on getting there for Marauderville. I was thinking of leaving Tuesday am (early) and taking I20 to Lafayette then I10 all the way to FLA. I plan to overnight in the Mobile/Pensacola area and would be open for suggestions. The next day,leave early again putting me into Orlando at a decent hour. I am open to suggestions re: convoying to FLA but Im not going to be driving over 75 and that might be too slow for some. Im coming back on my own as Im going to go the Garlits drag racing museum and spend a day in Mobile, AL. Those are my plans, anybody else?

It's just me and you thus far. SID210SA had to drop out. Your timing and route is per our discussion last month. I'll join up with you in Shreveport
I-49/I-20 junction. We can go as far as Tallhassee before we have to stop. That puts us in Orlando midafternoon of the 8th.

We'll talk more about it at the Picnic.

Hey there Pat, yes, lets discuss at the picnic. Maybe we can get a couple of more folkjs to go, but if not, well, its me and you.

:( Pat and Jim, it looks like I will not be going to MV4---Ginny has had some pretty serious medical problems--everything is working out fine---just time consuming. She will be good as new shortly. If I can possibly make it at the last minute, I'll do my best to get there. Don't forget that ik04 (Kevin) will be returning from A-stan just in time to make the trip--PM him and coordinate for the caravan. We caravaned to MVIII and had a blast. He checks the site very often. Three MMs will make a nice impression. Keep posting your plans so everyone knows where you plan to be and when. Check the other groups for their plans and maybe a mass hook-up can be planned in Florida. Wish you folks a safe and fun trip--my thoughts will be with you, Maury

Thanks for the thoughts--Ginny had a bad fall and did some internal damage---healing is progressing nicely--just have to be careful and be sure she doesn't fall again. Keep your fingers crossed--I can be up and away with 4 hours notice:burnout: Hope to see you in Orlando, Maury
