I got my Metcos Wednesday and installed them Friday......Very nice looking and a great value for the workmanship but I'm not "Blown Away" by the change in the car's performance??

The greatest change in cornering manners was the rear anti-sway bar upgrade......BIG improvement....then the front....not as big an improvement but better!!

The control arms make it feel more positive with a bit more feedback from the road surface. I haven't driven it much as I have another project going on this weekend but I will put some miles on it next week and report back!!:D

I think any handling mod is worthwhile and "additive" to the overall package....perhaps if this was a first mod it would have felt like a greater improvement??:cool4:

Hmmm,...

I had the front/rear anti-sway bars prior to the control arm install and felt a major difference afterwards.

The control arms made more of a difference than the sway bars themselves. IMHO.

Not running the Metcos, but would think the difference should be substantial over the POS OEM's.

Drive her a few days and post back please?

Mike.

My results were very close to yours when I did the rear ASB and Metco control arms and Watts-Linkage. The control arms really help on launching the car and planting the rear. The overall improvement in handling is very noticable with the total combination of mods. I did notice more road feedback with the control arms.

I have yet to install the front ASB. Do you think it is really needed with the other suspension mods??? I am concerned about various opinions on whether it will hurt my 60' times.

Glenn the stiffer front ASB is going to improve handling for sure, especially since you added weight to the front, but is also going to reduce the weight transfer to the rear tires when you launch the car.

I don't think anyone has any kind of quantative figures to measure the difference, you have to decide what is more is more important to you; best handling possible or best launch...best of both is a compromise.

Glenn.....

I like the improvement in road feel and I definitely get more road feedback in the rear!!

I launched it really hard yesterday (almost 10# on the boost meter!!) and got a lot of wheel spin off the line and at the 1-2 shift but it felt much better and more controlled than before with the OEM's!!:bows:
