I just ordered a Dynojet Wideband Commander and need to figure out the optional singal wiring. Is anyone running this setup and logging a/f vs rpm, and if so, how did you tie in the rpm signal? The instructions says this needs to be the negative side of a 12V pulsed circuit, such as at a coil pack or fuel injector.

I'm also planning on pickup up the throttle position sensor signal and wiring a lean WOT warning LED. I'm probably going to pig-tail off of the factory connectors where I can so I don't have to tear into the looms. Logging boost with the second analog input may come later, but it looks like rpm and tps are the more important signals to log.

Thanks in advance for any help and/or advice.

:bump:

Anyone want to hazard a guess at the best spot to pick up a rpm signal? I talked to my tuner and he said he usually splices onto a coil pack wire at the pcm connector under the dash when he installs these.

Received a package from UPS today!

I laid out the contents of the Dynojet Wideband Commander to get my bearings on what goes where and eyeballed a preliminary installation plan on the car. I still need to get a pod for the gauge and grab some 3-conductor from work to extend the aux input wiring in the engine bay (RPM via coil pack, TPS and MAF Volts). Install starts tomorrow night.
