I don't think they are ready to sell anything yet...Haven't been able to forcast prices, other that the 5-6K neighborhood.

those prices are without install right? On the trilogy site, it is listed at $5000. Seems like a great deal in comparison to kenny. Im sure you could nearly double that with an install though!

If they show up in Texas with a car for us to drive...they will probably have SEVERAL customers...

I will among the first group for that trilogy, but I will let Dennis put it on, but want to see the kit and what they have done as far as the fit and pieces first. Dennis I trust with the install and other little things like a reflash and small points that Dennis can fix, He's the guy as far as I am concerned.

my guess is that once others start selling their superchargers, you will see prices be pretty similar... the Stallion TC, Dynotech driveshaft, brakes, etc, are all priced pretty similarly. The question then becomes whats the name behind your ride. Lido has been making mustangs scream, Kenny is an icon, and Dennis is well known and liked. My suggestion is you go visit the shops, spend time with the people behind the shop, and ask around. Bottom line is that when you feel comfortable, it's a lot easy to write the check.

I live in Florida and its like 3 hours away. I cant go to MI. or IA. it would add $1000.00 to any price just to travel and do it.
Besides Dennis is more than competant and I can return there easily if there are problems, its a regional issue also.

Dennis' friend in PA has a supercharger in his possession (don't ask from where) that he was dying to get me to let him put it on.

I'm a little reluctant, and the price was....pricey. But well under 5k.

Tempting, but hard to let one's auto be a guinnea pig for another guys dream.

Trilogy sounds safer.

I will buy a supercharger as soon as possible, I wonder why Trilogy is taking so long to sell theirs?

I'm going to wait a little while longer, Dennis has his own s/c kit in the works as we speak. He is also developing an exhaust upgrade.

Gotta love choices!

I am hearing good things from Trilogy. Last I heard they had recieved good reports on the parts being produced to their specifications, which is great news.

Supercharging a 4.6 is not rocket science, it's been done since the DOHC 4.6 came out years ago... Kenne Bell, Kenny Brown, and others have been blowing DOHC motors for years. The motors can handle reasonable boost 7-9 lbs. The biggest problem is getting the kit together and tuned correctly. Now, that said, it is tricky to get a "kit" together, Kenny Brown has 120 custom components in my car, if it were easy to slap a supercharger on our cars, everyone would be doing it, so far the only people selling cars with superchargers are VT, Kenny Brown, and Sean Hyland. Everyone else is still in the development stage.

I for one am interested in seeing the kits the others are developing, and when they get to market.

Understand these cars are never going to be as fast as a Mustang, they weight more, and that's a big hurdle.

Remember what Car and Driver said when reviewing my car, speed costs money, how fast do you want to go.

Check out Corral.net, SVTOA.com, etc. to see the kind of success people have had blowing DOHC motors.
