Finally got a chance to get my MM dynoed this past weekend and well it gave the dyno guys a bunch of problems because it kept downshifting so they couldn't get a true reading. What is needed to be done to get the car to lock in 3rd, is their something in the Xcal2 that I use? :(
Run#1 100rwhp/100tq car downshifted
Run#2 no reading, downshifted again
Run#3 on stock tune 224rwhp/324tq which just cant be right lol
Run#4 no reading, downshifted again
Run#5 no reading, downshifted again
Run#6 277rwhp/309tq on DR tune

Good golly, seems like the fellow who dyno'd your car needs a bit of help figuring out how to run the dyno!

It sure sounded better than that. :D Most of the guys that have posted dyno pulls on a stock Marauder were in the 236-242 RWHP range, I believe. A 224 would be low IMHO. I be looking at the Dyno set-up itself as a possible source of the questionable numbers. :o

According to the timeslips, it looks like you need a chip, tune or exhaust to get into the 260-270 range. :dunno:

That sound about right. 305 hp minus 70 = 235 plus or minus 2% in stock underwear.

Stock cars dyno in the 220-230 rwhp range.
The dyno guy must not do many automatic Fords. You have to bring the car to about 70mph in 3rd (with the OD off) and then hit it. That will get you from about 3000prm and up and it shouldn't downshift.
Another option, is to ask Dennis for another copy of your tune, with the trans locked in 3rd. Load it on the dyno, and then they won't have to worry about it.

Yeah that's a good idea, I'll have to contact Dennis ahead of time before I get it dynoed again.
