chrome shifter?

Where can you get a chrome shifter? Ive seen pics of it before and it looked much better then stock. does anybody know anything about this?

I got mine from the factory that way. You mean you all don't have chrome shift bezels??? I feel so bad...... :D

... does anyone know if sheets of Dot Matrix are available?
I have thought of covering the panels that contain the window switches in Dot Matrix on all four doors to tie it all together with the dash and shifter.

I was also thinking of changing the window switches to billet, I have seen kits for mustangs and rangers but don't know if they are compatible with the Marauder/Crown Vics.

And if anyone see's better or metal interior door handles let me know, I always feel like I am going to break the plastic ones getting out of the car.

My 2002 Crown Vic Sport had the chrome shifter bezel....I miss that. It looked nicer. I myself have been debating on replacing it also. :D

I'm with you...I really think that the chrome looks nicer...I don't know the difficulty factor to install it.

Hmmmm....let me play around with it. :D Its gonna snow this week so the car will be sitting for this week. Maybe next weekend I'll take a look at it. BTW, I got your email.

To get the shift indicator bezel assembly off:

1. Remove the guage cluster by pulling it toward the shifter and unplug it.

2. Remove the finish panel on top of the console around the shifter.

3. Slide the collar down at the bottom of the leather shift handle to expose the two screws and plug for the O/D button. (it takes a bit of force)

4. Remove the screws and unplug and lift off the knob. Now simply lift the bezel up and unplug the light.

I can take and post pics if anyone needs them.
