Well I have sold all ten PHP kits, so I have decided to offer it again, this is a work of art and has a proven RWHP gain, so those interested please give Jackie a call, please allow at least 30 days for this, but the sooner I get ten confirmed the sooner I can place the order with Paul, here is the PHP CAK shown with the Optional Metco intake tube

Yes it is any thing made out of carbon fiber is expensive, and I can not sell for under Metco's MSRP, trust me I am not making a big profit on these, I did this group buy because I was asked to by many members.

I was just talking to Dennis on the phone, he's out at a car show when he mentioned this to me.

Dennis asked me to remind y'all of two things about his group buy program. One is that the order doesn't go out to the supplier/manfacturer until all orders have been called into Jackie (904.276.5003) so, you here first to order, are beholding to the last buyer in line getting his order in.

Secondly, this item (and others) are not stocked by Dennis, they are shipped from the supplier/manfacturer after the GB order goes through in. Dennis won't have a tracking number, 'cause he's not shipping anything.

Last but not least, warranty issues. Some of Dennis' suppliers want to deal with you driect, not through Dennis. Precision Industries is one such supplier/manfacturer. When you have a problem, Dennis gives you a phone number and you contact...Jack.

Jack's the owner, and it's not a large operation, family owned and operated, they don't even have an 800 number, last time I checked. Ditto on this for other stuff bough through Dennis, but not all.

If it's Moser axels, Moser won't talk to you at all. They stand by their product, but behind authorzed vendors. When I had problems with Moser, a three-way call with Dennis, me and Moser Tech Sipport got it solved and in record time. But, they wouldn't take my initial call, "have your vendor call us? and he did.

Can't say how this GB will be handled, I don't know if Dennis stocks things from PHP or Metco, but he may. If Dennis ships it out, you can get a tracking number. Dennis may be your Tech support on the products mentioned here, that may be Metco and PHP. Either way, you will get service.

Please keep this in mind?

Paul its worth nothing to you if you do not want it or like it, retail on the K&N is 240.00 The PHP is the best looking and best made CAK out there, its hand made, out of steel and powder coated, with a high flow conical air cleaner, along with a stainless steel cover, as far as why is carbon Metco fiber inlet tube so expensive, you will have to ask Metco that question.
http://www.metcomotorsports.com/index.html
But if you can find another company to invest time and money to make a mold and cast a different tube for a car that is no longer in production, please send me the info. Again I can not sell under MSRP.

+1 on the PHP airbox. You will not find a more solid, better made piece for the Marauder. I've had mine 2+ years and it looks as good as the day I bought it from Paul's. It also tucks right up to the front of the engine bay taking in air mostly from the front, not the engine bay.

I agree Ray, Paul only makes them for my company, and I have to order them 10 at a time. And with the Metco tube it looks awsome.

Here is the update on the PHP kits, Paul's HP makes these for me, I have to buy ten at a time, this is very expensive to do, especially at the holidays when most business slows down, they are working on these, but I have had very few members commit to these, I have three confirmed orders, this is a very good CAK so I f you want one please give Jackie a call.

The PHP intake box is nice looking and easy to install. I am horribly nearsighted and mechanically challenged and I was able to install it myself onto the stock air tube. I was fortunate enough to purchase mine almost new from another MM menber. There is a thread around here somewhere with Dennis Reinhart's before and after dyno sheets from the initial test of this product.

I have the PHP airbox, Magnaflows with a Reinhart tune and the three things together make one heckuva difference in the car from stock.

A note about carbon fiber being expensive - the cost is high because of the unique combination of extreme light weight and strength. The price is also high because these are not mass produced. This is a very specialized, limited edition item for a very limited edition vehicle. We are lucky to have these made for us at all. It's not in the cards for me at this time, but eventually I'd like to have one of those Metco tubes.

I have this exact setup from Dennis that I got last summer I believe. (It all runs together in my brain! :D ) It is a beautiful system. I used to have the JLT, and this uses the same excellent S&B 9" conical filter, which is larger even than the very good one on the K&N. There is no comparison on the quality between my old and new system.

The PHP is meant for use with the standard bellows and it fits perfectly with that. Sgt. Mac tested this setup way back when and it worked very well for him. Mine had a good but not really tight connect to the metco tube, so I just called metco and got a second reinforced rubber peice that connects the MAF to the tube. Now the entire setup is super air tight and very strong with virtually no play up and down on the assembly.

I want to thank the five member who have participated in this GB. When this first started I explained that we needed ten members to put this together. I have gone out on a limb to do this, I have had to pay up front for ten of these, and five members here have waited patiently for months for there CAK, so to be fair to those members who did pay up front, if we have not sold the other five by Friday they cannot be sold at the GB rate.

They just started on it this week. Looks like the normal number of headaches due to the Marauder engine. One header will go on without much problem and then there is the other one that needs a total rebuild. Carl is on the job but it is going to take some. A bunch are here at Barret Jackson and so is the GT 500 that Paul did for SEMA. That car is getting a lot of attention. WE are having a great time. Thanks for the reply and once they get closer on the GM I will order a Intake tube.
