Hello everyone, I just wanted to post information regarding the number of supercharged Kenny Brown Marauders out there. Since Kenny is a sponsor I think it is OK to post it here (Logan?).
Cars built and delivered: 9
Cars in production: 5 in their shop right now
Cars awaiting production: 2

That brings the total number of Kenny Brown Marauder S VIN's up to 16. With more to come :)

I think this is an amazing accomplishment, and should help you all feel a little more comfortable about supercharging your marauder. With 16 cars out there running around, or soon to be running around, you can feel fairly comfortable that you are not the guinea pig, and that any bugs, if any, have been worked out long before you get yours done.

With all the talk from other people about getting a supercharger into production, it's great to see that one company has them out there rolling around... although it's just a matter of time before we see other kits, and that's a good thing. When others are developing Kenny is refining his offering, and that is something to consider when you are going to plunk down your cash.

This thread was not meant as a slam to other participating vendors, it's just a reminder that a supercharged marauder is available, and its pretty awesome. Let's see what time brings :)

Yes I am biased, but the facts speak for themselves (res ipsa loquitor)

16 cars out there ????

I was under the impression, that the production of the KB MM-S was limited to a total of 10? Mensrea, you even state this in your sig.

Nothing wrong with it, if you can sell them, somebody has to build them! I guess.
Just surprised to see that.

Some clarification is in order... Kenny is buidling ten Special Edition Marauder S's, the rest will be Marauder S's.. differnet badging, serial numbers, and minor other differences, I will ask him to verify the difference. Good question!

hey bill, do they have a verified top speed for your car, and did they put ina new speedometer to compensate for the boost in the top speed?

Just out of curiousity and not to be uncool...but what does it cost to have a Marauder "Kenny Browned'? And Mensrea is the MM you have an everyday car or a track car?

Kenny's base price is 16,800 plus the price of the donor Marauder, then goes from there, depending on what you want. the car is absoultely a daily driver.. you would never know it is supercharged until you stomp it. ILPIMP drove the car and he's 15 (OK now he's 16) and he did a great job.

Now I just need to come up with $16,000. IwantOneIwantOneIwantOneIwantO neIwantOne

Mensrea, so the improved car does not sound any lounder or have a more throaty sound even with the changes? How many cars have you smoked with that thing? On the street of course... :D

Well since my car is for sale I won't say how many cars I've smoked.... but check out my time slips in the gallery :) I actually got beat by a Sable one time, but traction was bad.

The car only has a little whine to it, stock sounding except for that...

Ok I dig Fords....but why in the heck would anyone pour money into a SABLE to make it fast enough to beat the mensrea????

I mean for the money spent the guy could have created his own Frankenstien Racing Pinto or something...

BTW since we are all learning latin...doesn't Mensrea mean something like...the state of mind. Legally like did the person have the state of mind to commit the criminal act or something like that? Seem to remember that from my legal class in 10th grade.

See-it pays to read threads thru and thru--just when you don't think there is anything you can use --BOOM! there it is!!

Hey, I resemble that remark. If you think I am bad, you should see some of the other folks from my law school classes....

Il, just remember in about 25-30 years you will be our age and you will think that the stuff we are slinging is the ****z!

I'd love to, if it came in a kit. Seems the only way to get the parts is to ship my car 5000km and get them to do the surgery. Plus, I don't think my Marauder has enough insurance to cover my fees. :-)

Thanks Mensrea. I love it already. It's my 'other girlfriend'. My girlfriend and my wife both are jealous of it.

Haggis and LadyHawke have 2 signature editions (#6 & #8?). I have a signature edition (#10 of 10). There are quite a few out there of the 22 he built (I think that's the right total - correct me if I'm wrong).
