Had 2 Falkens on the back for a while and decided to take a chance and put the same on the front...had heard good and bad about 255/55 on front...will rub and such...got them put on at local Ford dealer...for $15 (he gave me employee discound without even asking, and they are only place in my little town that can mount tires on the MM rims)...the car did not feel right with just the Falkens on the back with 245 BFG OE on the front but with them all the way around it feels alot better...the side walls are softer so it is not as firm in a corner but handles fair...I got these because of mileage warranty and tread life and price...$113 per-shipping included...I live in the mountains and 15,000 miles is the most I got out of the factory BFGs...the big 255/55s up front DO NOT rub and I took it through the paces with the wheel turned max left and right...down hill and up...these are not performance tires but SUV tires so they will not handle as good as the other high dollar tires...I was not interested so much in handling as tread life...just posted this because of the speculation on whether or not 255/55s would fit up front...as for me and my 2003 MM...yes they do very well and look phat...willie
