Ive had the SlkMerc for a few months now and just got aroud to messing with the adjustable pedals. When I actuate the switch, it makes noise but doesnt really move but an inch or so. Any ideas on what the problem is?

Check and lubricate the hinge points.

An inch of adjustability is quite a bit of adjustment to what others get, which is no adjustment at all.
Take your inch, say thanks. Very few automobiles offer any change at all.

Mine moves fine. Seems like it's more than an inch. I'll check tomorrow.

LOL
I guess I don't get the joke.
On the left is the panther power adjustable pedal assembly, on the right, it's non-adjustable counter part(s). I thought it would be beneficial to show a picture of the unit out of the car.
Pretty self-explanatory, one has a motor, one doesn't, obviously two seperate things, if you can't see the difference.......

Havent actually LOOKED down there, but pedal feels to my foor like it moves a couple inches. It moved enough to irritate my wife if I change it. :)

Yep, love those memory settings. That way I do not have to keep re-adjusting everything every time my wife drives the LS. :D

The URL says this: http://www.p71interceptor.com/powerpedals/pedalsfront.jpg and when I copy and paste that into the address bar, I get the pedals. The pic of your car shows up in the thread. ^^^

Probably an anti-leech thing from that site. Drock96Marquis can see the right image 'cause he has a membership cookie from over there that bypasses the anti-leech.

Just had mine replaced for the same thing. The gear drive inside the brake portion was snapped in half giving little to no movement. Don't rest your foot on the brake pedal while adjusting yourself in the seat.
Unplug the cable from the brake portion and push switch to actuate, the gas pedal should move much more and thats your problem if it's snapped inside. Covered under warranty as a complete assy.

Thanks Dan! I will check that out asap. Also, with just over 60k, I doubt if she's still under warranty.
