Well, took Max to the track, as I was part of a private rental day at Atco Raceway in NJ this past Tuesday.
Had some issues with the car shutting down at the top of the track, so I didn't get to make a full 100% pass. Best of the day was just a 12.1@110, shutting down right after the 1000ft. The car should easily go low 11s, once I get this figured out. Unfortunately, I did not bring the equipment to the track with me that I needed to try to diag the problem there.
On a good note, the car launches insane. Everyone said I was pulling the front wheels. All I am running is is the Hoosier QTPs and the Metco control arms. Of course, the 600 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels off idle helps too :D.
The best part, is that I was the ONLY person there out of 16 cars, that drove to the track from NY. Everyone else trailered. There were two Mustangs with broken rears, one with a broken trans, one 03 Cobra with broken half shaft, a Camaro with a broken driveshaft, and a Camaro with a broken clutch (we definitely can't say the track wasn't hooking ;)). But the ole 155k mile Interceptor had no drivetrain issues and was pulling the wheels at 4000 lbs. :bows:
Here are a few pics from one of the guys who was there. I will post more as I get them from other people. There might be some video as well.
