Standard Trans?

All right, now for a question which I have not seen addressed here, and which may seem totally crazy. Of all the many mods which have been done to MM's, has anyone seen one with a standard transmission? What do you think the difference would be from the stock auto in terms of performance?

Pretty slick... check out the center mount e-brake... the console and handbrake setup was pulled from a Contour... the car also has a massive 2" solid front sway bar.

acutally it has been on here at least twice, i know because i brought it up once. :)
the problem is the firewall and since the car was never built with a manual there are things in the way like the power pedals or something. some say it will screw up the crash rating too or something. someone more informed should talk about it acutally...

but man, what i wouldnt give for a center e-brake! (one of my few 'i wish' for the mm)
