I've had several different types of wiper blades on my car and was noticing how well the current set is working. I drove over 300 miles in pouring rain Friday and got to thinking that they have been on the car well over a year and are still working great.

1st set: OEM slim-type: looked cool, skipped big gaps and didn't last 6 months.
2nd set: OEM newer type (replaced under warranty): didn't look cool and didn't work much better than the first ones. Instead of skipping they chattered and left black rubber deposits on the windshield at the top travel points.
3rd set: Bosch Micro-edge: expensive, worked good for awhile but didn't last long. Same black rubber deposits as the 2nd set.
4th set: Trico Teflon: reasonable price, work great, last a long time. Get 'em!

I like the originals, I haven't had a problem with the function, but I do agree they aren't that long lasting.

I'll look for those Trico teflons. I've used silicone blades, and wouldn't recommend them.

Ford is pushing the 'yellow stripe' these days, but I haven't tried them.

I just installed two new blades. One from RainX and one from Bosch. Both are of the new one piece design that looks like the Valeos. So far the are holding up and wipe nice clean/complete strokes.

I just installed a set on the MM and the wife's Taurus. She says the Michelin (Pylon makes them) are the best she has ever had on her car.

I still have my original wipers and I like the low profile look of them. However it's time to change them. Has anyone found or refilled the original frames?

I think that these blades don't fit our wiper arm because of the pin type application on ours, and the hook type application on the Bosch ICONS.

I have the Rain-X wipers.

Well, I think that covers it guys. We've covered all the topics now. Ok, Admin we have done it all - you can unplug it now

Oh, I am still using the OEM blades

I like the originals the most. They had a nice way of curving so they would get even the bends of the windshild. The first pair lasted me over a year and I drove the car almost everyday. I can't find anything like the originals no matter if it's the dealer or auto zone.

What he said. Compare to anything else that I have used they offer the best compromise between looks, functionality, and price.

I never hear them they are so quite and they last a long time too. Miami sun hasn't seemed to have a negative effect on them either.

Buy them!
