It seems like it is comming from behind the radio area.
More like a buzzing sound.
Only does it, under power, not coasting.
Really doesn't mix, with the other Sweet sounds, my car makes!

Just happened to me, suddenly too. Heard something in the cabin, and couldn't trace it. Turned out to be a "SlowPoke" pen in the center OH console.
Clean that (and glove box) out?

Ok thanks, I'll try the glove box.
I don't have an OH console.
But I think it is comming from behind the dash.

Might be your AC vents. Try moving them when you hear the sound. The vent to the right of the radio in my MM does it occasionally.

Coins in the defroster vents? :D

Yes, this happened to me too, I have to dynamat every damn panel in the car! I might be too picky but it seems every month I find a new noise, and a new use for sound dampener. The OH console, the door skins, between the shifter console and the lighter/ gaugepod, the rear tray, wont these noises just go away!

Buy some trunk liner or speaker box carpet and carpet the inside of your glove box using 3M 77 spray as the adhesive. No more BSR's! (Buzzes, Squeaks, Rattles)

To RValdez1: I hope this doesn't sound too academic or geeky, but the fact is, once you start sound deadening, you are bound to continue. With each bit of noise you attenuate, you decrease the ambient noise level in the car. When you do this, specific noises that may have blended in the past become more noticable. Then you have to fix them, and they in turn are removed from the spectrum of white noise, leaving room for the next noise to be heard, then remedied. Its a vicious circle. Sorry about that! OK. Back to ignoring me!

Actually, you have great point! When dropping the noise level, those noises at lesser ampitude become more audible. I guess its something im gonna have to live with, because if I didnt install dampener I would have a couple subs and an exhaust shaking up the cabin. You know, college at 23,000 a year tuition actually helped me understand your statement.:D
