To make a long story short, I ended up scuffing up one of my rims. Now I know a lot of you, particularly down here, got lots of nicks and such on their rims and don't know who to go to get it fixed. Well I found a place down here in Miami called Wheels America, http://www.fixrim.com/ 1567 NW 82nd Ave, Miami, FL 33126 Phone 786-331-4030, and they did a great job and they don't charge you an arm and a leg. It is $129 up front plus another $30 for tire removal and reinstallation per rim. So it is about $159 total with tax FLAT RATE! My rim came back looking near factory. They sandeded down and buffed out the damage then powdercoated the rim and sprayed clearcoat. Took just two days and the wheel looks great. I am just trying to help you guys out. Body shops aren't too hard to find but finding a place that fixes wheels? It is like pulling teeth to find one! Well, here is one good one!

Just adding IMHO...
It's a nationwide company, with an office here in Chicago. I've used Wheels America a dozen times in the past 4 years, never disappointed. The wheel is fully serviced, and checked for "out of round". The refinishing is not perfect, but near perfect. The paint and powercoat, and clearcoat is excellent, and the prices affordable. They can't fix everything, but what they do fix, is done well.
Carry on gents...

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures, lol. I wasn't even going to bring this up until another member had asked me to since a lot of other folks here have scratched up wheels. They did an excellent job on sanding and buffing but the clear coat came out a bit funny but overall good job, especially for the money. I should be at the towers Friday, if anyone shows up. I'll show you where the damage was and the rim.
*PS Tmac, not funny...:nono: lol

Steven Stop by my home this afternoon and showed me the rim he had refinished. While it wasn't 100% perfect, it looked great, almost like new. Thanks for posting the info for the members.

Hey Steve. You might want to re check your rims cuz I saw your car at the dealer today getting an allignment and I accidentally got too close and might have scratched one of them. Although I cant remember which one Im sure youl find it :D

I just saw a set of chromed rims this past weekend. They looked great. That is what I would do. The cost seemed comparable to this.

Whoever did them, did an outstanding job.

I've used Keystone in the past with good success..they have locations across the US. Here is one of my SSP wheels, looked brand new, $125.
