I see what you were saying about your tranny, It seems to hold 1st gear too long then slams into second.

Eh, I didn't care. I was just wondering why you said it. I didn't see anything in the video that would make you say that.

Yeah the car is definatly a freak. I've driven several Marq's and they didnt feel anywhere near as quick or torquey! And yes...this will be an awesome car to mod. I can just only imagine how its going to take to anything i do to it!!

LOLLL! Nahhhh its all car. :D The 1-2 shift comes in at around 46 as you can see and it really throws you back at that point. Then at around 55-70 is where it comes even more alive. And after 95, its really amazing...If the car didnt stop at 109, there is just no telling how far it could go

I got to think the car is re-tuned.
It does not behave anything like its' twin here in Chicago.
No top speed limiter?
I have to admit, I have not tried traveling in excess of 109 MPH in the GMQ.

The car hasnt been tuned at all. As a matter of fact the light throttle shifts can get sloppy and OD comes in at around 31 MPH under thoes conditions. The top speed limiter is there (109mph) and its been there many MANY times. I am overconfident in the car i suppose. I travel the Cross island pkwy (a road known to NY'ers from the board) at night for a good 4 miles at 100+ mph even on the turns. The handing also doesnt even feel stock. Although i understand the HPP package stiffens things up a bit, i feel it handles better than a Q45 ive driven recently. Hell, it even feels more stable than an S500.

One more reason i know nothing was done to the car. I got this on a trade when i was working for L-M. last november it had 19,600 miles from an older guy in his mid 50's. Besides the rear bumper Scratch mods he gave the car, im gonna have to assume nothing was done to it :D

Also, ive seen MANY a marauders hold 1st gear until around 55 mph. Its actually cool that it holds it down that long. Mark 8's were known to do that as well (3.08 gears though)
