Well, originally thinking I might not be able to make it, I made a near last minute decision to attend the Northern Virginia Mustang Club's annual club Cookout/Picnic. Got the car cleaned up and helped my dad detail his Silver Birch, and we made our way up there.

I was hoping to invite others, but while at the folks house I found out their cable was out and I couldn't get online to post...I know we have alot of CAM'ers in Atlanta for the weekend, but still would've been happy to extend the invite for the NVMC event. (This was a rescheduled event that was originally supposed to be 2 weekends ago)

The NVMC guys were happy to have some Marauders there, and while one family, we were referred to as "The Marauder Club". Suffice to say CAM is always invited, I'll just have to be better at giving advance warning! :D

Anyway...

The show was good, it was a tad cold out but we came away pretty good.

My car scored in the top 10, and my dad's car in the top 30. We both left the show with trophies. So while we sent a CAM contingent to Atlanta to tear it up on the 1320, we still got some good Marauder representation here in VA.

My roommate was there, brought his S/C'ed C5 Vette and also placed in the top 30. He took some great pics as well which were here: http://70.167.242.9/nvmc/11052006/

It was also my dad's first car show trophy, couldn't have done it with a better car.

Nice going Mike!

I'm glad you are 'holding down the fort' for your fellow CAMmers.

It's great to see that your dad is enjoying the SB Marauder.
