Took my father in-law's Buick to Town Fare for 4 new tires.

Does he really need free tire replacement and 4 wheel alignment?

If the Buick has FWD, the 4 wheel alignment is good insurance for a well handling vehicle with good tire wear.
Free tire replacement depends on the circumstances in the policy. $10 per wheel is pretty standard.
I have a 2000 Buick Park Avenue and have all of that done at each tire replacement. Get 60, 000 miles per set of tires.(Michelin)

Yeah, have to agree that it all depends! Depends on how many miles does he drive a year, and when was the last time he had an alignment? My guess is he's not doing much a year, so maybe he didn't need the free replacement, but probably needed the alignment.
