View Full Version : Personal license plates...

In my state, a personal plate requires 6 options and 6-8 weeks of waiting to get your (surprise) plate.
The 'bible belt' censorship system is in full force here. Catchy innuendo and sly, devious meanings are not allowed. After all is said and done, one is just as well served by using the standard plate and saving the additional costs involved.
No matter how you say it, Marauder will not break down to 5 characters plus a space and have any discernible meaning.
So, highlight the Marauder letters in the rear bumperette and forget the grief and consternation.

So......................I guess 'GO2HELL' is not acceptable?
  :stupid:
OK how about 'HOTRAUD' 'MORAUDR' 'MARAUDR' 'SSBEATR'
I guess these are all 7........are you saying you only get 6?
'BEATSS'
We get 7(as do most) and N. Carolina gets 8(lucky bastiges)
Good Luck

Thx doc, but JESOUS dosen't compute either.
Where am I going wrong??
Dr Caleb

Remove the "O". IESOUS = JESUS, but with the cheeky reference to Lucifer Morningstar - First of the Fallen, suitable in the "Bible Belt' to cause anyone who gets the reference to instantly burst into flames. :banned:
Plus, it would proabally get by the Censorship you described above. Preacherman is a bad bad man  :burnout:

What about MRWDR
I think the consensus for a lot of folks (specifically the ones who have added inserts in the bumper) was to not play on the Marauder name in the plate, because it can easily be read on the bumper.
Do a search, however, because about 4 months ago a long thread was started that actually contained some pretty good suggestions for alternatives.
Unless your name works with Marauder...eh MO?...
I guess that makes RF "Shemp", eh?

I have MARAUDR coming soon in Kansas. My sister has RUNVUS on her 03 Thunderbird in Vegas (are you envious?) She wanted RUNVS but it was taken. The Thunderbird gave me the bug to get the Marauder. It was one 'runnin son of a gun.
Someone in Kansas once had 3M TA3. In Kansas we only have rear plates unless they are personalized, then we have front and rear plates. The DMV recalled this plate because of the way it appears in rear view mirrors. I wonder if they would approve
