I was wondering what car cover(s) people are using on their Marauder or other cars that you are happy with. It looks like the Marauder will get driving through this winter, but that I will be able to swing picking up a daily driver next year (once the house is sold and divorce is final).

Anyway, once that is done, I want to leave the Marauder parked on a daily basis. It will most likely spend most of that parked time in a garage. I want to keep it as clean and dust free as possible during that parked time so I don't have to dust it off everytime I want to get it out. Plus, it will spend extended periods parked over the winter months after this winter.

I was thinking something like the NOAH or DUSTOP cover from California Car Covers. The DUSTOP looks like it would be good for indoor only use. Says the material is think to help with potential dings, keeps dust out, etc. The NOAH would be nice incase I was traveling and wanted to cover the car sometime when it is outside. Price between the 2 is very close:

It is kind of pricey compared to some at your local FLAPS, but I want something decent to cover and help protexct the car.

So, loooking for input from others on what they are using and seems to work on your car. Doesn't leave marks, etc.

Nothing you can buy at a local parts store will compare to one of the high end California Car Cover covers. I've been down that road, and those cheesy $50 covers deteriorate in outside use. The Noah is a great cover. They have two or three other really good ones rated for all weather use. Just check the features on all their covers and decide what would be best for you. It's definitely worth the money; you'll have the cover forever. And for what it's worth, I use one of their covers on my Shebly Cobra.

I also thought the Superweave would be nice, too, but it quite a bit more than the other 2. I know CCC used to do customer embroider at one point as they put "Z28" on the one I had for my '81 Z28. Looks liek you can add customer embriodery for $20 extra (little more more than 7 characters). Or it looks liek you can get "Marauder" silk screened on. Wonder how long that would last. Font looks nice from their site anyway.

I'm using the Noah cover. It's a bit pricey as I think I paid somewhere around $450.00 for it. The fit is perfect.

And if you don't know basically almost all car covers are made by CoverCraft. Doesn't matter if you buy a California Car Cover, a Autoanything cover, a Big Sky cover, etc they are all made by CoverCraft at their Oklahoma facility.

Superweave is the way to go.

I own five of them and will be buying a sixth very soon.

Marty,

Just the cars in my signature, plus my DDs.

I need a cover for the Nova. The fellow that sold me the car gave me a cover and it may need to be replaced. I think it is torn.

But, I am always looking and I will be at the Moultrie Swap Meet next weekend! :D
