:mad2: MY O3 MARAUDER HAS 32,000 MILES AND TODAY THE O/D LIGHT STARTED BLINKING, FOLLOWING BY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GOING ON. I WAS DRIVING 20MPH DID NOTHING TO PROVOKE THIS TO HAPPEN. THE TRANSMISSION FEELS LIKE IT IS SHIFTING LATE, STAYING IN FIRST GEAR WAY TOO LONG.

HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM BEFORE???

SOUNDS LIKE ELECTRICAL PROBLEM WITH SHIFTING RATIO OF GEARS.

PLEASE HELP, I KNOW SOMEONE MUST OF EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE.

THANKS, IN ADVANCE:mad2:

You need to read your engine light codes. But, I believe it indicates an over heated transmission plus other possible codes.

Hey man, I had the problem. Just check your fuses underneath the hood. Its a its a yellow 15 fuse. Please don't take it to a shop before you check your fuses. let me know if you find a blown one.

I had this happen on a powerstroke diesel - flashing o/d light with late/hard shifts. Turned out to be a bad TPS.

the pcm will flash the o/d light whenever it sees a problem...doesnt mean overheating necessarily. could be a # of issues. if it stays in 1st too long it sounds like youve lost 2nd gear. when this happens it shifts from 1st to 3rd. then the pcm sees the fault and turns on the mil. it probably has a code for 2nd gear wrong ratio or slippage....

I had flashing o/d light and slippage/slamming into gear. Three days and $1982 later all is fine. It only cost me $100 for the ESP deductable.

Good luck,

Neal

Keep us posted on this. I guess that might be out of base warranty?
