Just in case anyone is interested, there is an anual autocross at Slemen Park - an old airforce base - on Prince Edward Island. See this link for some pictures from previous years (that's my dyno in some of the shots) http://pics.spoon.org/Cars/Slalom-at-Slemon-2003/Day1/.
This is a clear hoot as its large, flat, and three days long. Not 2007, but 2008 may be a national event. At any rate, I thought it would be a hoot if it turned out to be a "Marauderville" of some sort. There is also a drag strip about 30 minutes away that I could likely rent for those interested in straight lining vs cornering.
PEI is beautiful in the summer- warm, sparsley poppulated, lots of beaches, lots of fine seafood restaurants. See http://www.gov.pe.ca/ for details about PEI.
Slemon is well run by an enthusiastic club. A lot of Eastern US'ers already make it an anual event, as do a number of Quebecers.
Be fun to see a line of MMs waiting to do a heat, eh?
Well just a thought. If there is any interest in something so bold, I'd be glad to try to organize from here. I'm a delegator, though, so beware!
