I have a Ford security system in my car. I have it programmed NOT to chirp or auto arm when the car is shut off (via switches in the module) Using the lock switch and ignition sequence, I also have the keyless entry horn toot programmed OFF.
However lately I have noticed that if I shut off the car, turn the key to accessory and stay in the vehicle (waiting to pick someone up for instance) it will auto arm?? When this happens you cannot disable via the key fob until you turn the key to ON, setting off the siren in the process, then press disarm on the fob.
Any ideas on this?
