Does any one have the torque spec amount for the addco front sway bar. When I installed mine I lubed it up well with white Lithium grease. All of a sudden Im starting to get some squeeking from there again :shake: . I was wondering if maybe I had the bolts to tight (not allowing the bar to slip a little through the bushings). So basically I just need some torque #'s for those 4 bolts. Thanks All

Your squeak is most likely comming from the lithium grease you used. Should use synthetic grease on the poly bushings. Search the forum & you'll find the specs.

I have seen people say to use marine grade grease but I have no clue where to find that. I guess you can find synthetic grease at any auto parts place?

Yes you can find it at most FLAPS (Friendly Local Auto Parts Store)

Well I know its just me but I did a search in the forums for "sway bar torque specs" and only came up with 15-18 pounds for the rear bar. I need the specs for the front bar. I did notice that the white lithium grease I put on there had black kind of dusty stuff in it. I'm assuming that is from the bushings I think they are to tight.

This is right from Addco's installation page part #2196, Front Sway Bar.

"Tighten the end-links until the end-link bushings just bulge slightly. Do not over tighten!!"

There is nothing on the sheet about applying any kind of lubricant.

If you don't use a lubricant w/ poly bushings, they will squeek to hell.

Dan, check out Mobil 1 chassis grease. It is synthetic, and bright red/easily seen.
There is also Marine-grade white lithium as well.

Just remember to give them a few shots of grease every oil change to keep them squeek free ;)

Any update on front sway bar torque? I am in stalling these in the morning and would really need the numbers.
