Mercury sales were 31 percent lower than a year ago reflecting lower fleet deliveries and the impact of discontinued models (Cougar and Villager). I think these statistics directly reflect what everyone has been seeing on dealer ship lots. Although I have compared FMC with the Al-Quida network, I still have some faith in this 100-year company. Maybe we could collectively send a will thought out letter incorporating our thoughts and expectations for L/M. Using this website as an example, some people have over one thousand posts. Focusing this effort into something meaningful for everyone would truly be special.

There is another reason May sales are down. Ford reduced all passenger car production, I think starting in January.
The St Thomas plant is off one week per month until plant shut down for model year change over
