O.K. I have been bitten real hard by the Marauder Bug. I want mo power.
I currantly have the Trilogy setup and I want to keep it. But what is the next step up in pulley size? Mine currantly makes 460hp @ the crank that's about 390 @ the wheel. What size pulley do I need and do I have to go up in injector size? If I understand things right that 42lb injectors should support a little over 500hp. Will I need to reflash my computer?
Help me out please. Also This is also a daily driver so I want to keep my 3:55 gears.
Any imput will be MUCH appreciated.:burnout: :D

you have the 3.4 pulley. You can go to a:
3.2 pulley
3.0 pulley
2.8 pulley
It all depends on how extreme you want to go. When you go with the smaller pulleys you will need a retune and maybe a different fuel pump. Give Lidio a call and he will explain everything to you. Good luck.

Alternative Automotive. Hes a preferred vendor of this site and he is north east of Detroit about 20 miles...Tell him you want a Meth kit and a 2.8 pulley tune...You likey

Thank-you LILALLEYKATT. I surfed this site some more and found out everything I need to know to get ahold of him.. Intresting where do you inject the Methonal in a Trilogy supercharged motor. I have seen it done on the centrifugal superchargers and its self explanatory, but it looks to me like it got to be done at each of the ports....? instead of near the throttle body.
I was hoping maybe to use the 3.2 pulley and not have to retune..?

you'll want a tune with the 3.2
Meth kit not sure, check with Rich Long, he's got one on his Trilogy.

you'll want a tune with the 3.2I thought Lidio told me I could either add a CAI or go down one pulley size (but not both) without needing a re-tune...

Whoa, hold the phone there pardner.
You can make more power with pulley and tune.
BUT, your tranny is only stable to about 450 HP. I would suggest beefing the tranny, and going to a torque converter. The TC will help ALOT in front of the 3.55's in multiplyig your existing torque for take-off and rolling starts (passing). The Art Carr Level 2 will give you fast, firm, non power robbing shifts and protect that tranny from more horsepower.
No this isn't more power, but better use of existing power resulting in more go and more longevity. You're on the edge of what the tranny can handle long term.
My 2cents. hope it helps.

I thought our transmission was good too 700-750 hp?
The torque converter changes that, though.
Oh, Good luck on the bite.

O.K. I see it coming now. how much much faster do you want to go = how much money in your pocket.
I guess I,m going to have to stay put for now. It sounds like before I do anything I should prep my tranny. It only has 30,980 miles on it and it is my daily driver. Sooooo.... I will shelve everything for now, but thanks for all the imput. This forum is the best.
