My Marauder gets to go to the body shop (AGAIN!!!) This weeks windstorms dropped a limb on her. It dented the door post, scratched the mirror, cracked the windshield and scratched the hood. I doubt if the insurance is going to pay for having the flames re-done.

The winds also took enough shingles off the roof that I will have to file a claim with the homeowners insurance too.

That limb had no respect for your "Department of Defense" sticker.
Hope it's fixed to your liking!

Ouch! That hurt. Your flames are the sharpest I have seen:)

Hope it works out for you. Insurance most likely will now pay to replace the flames, it sucks but what can one do?

My wife got me a cover after what I went though to get it re-painted!

Best of luck and look into a cover. It will help. Mine sat outside for 3 years not it has a garage:up: Yes it still get covered.

I have a cover, but it wouldn't have helped much. (Unless you are talking about one of those tent covers)

I would have thought a cover would have prevented the scratches?

Sorry to hear that BJ. Maybe the insurance will pay for the flames?
They are now part of the car.

I quit using the cover because i had something get up under the cover and scratch the paint during a windstorm last year.

I have an appointment with the claims adjuster Wednesday. We'll see how it goes.

Ouch BJ! Hope the fix goes well without taking too much time or $$ to have everything go right.
I was going to go out on a limb and branch out into some (sic) humor but I figured I'd better leaf it alone for now cause it wood splinter into something, get blown off topic and I could get :flamer: pretty badly! :)
Really... Good Luck

I would check with your homeowners ins. They just might cover that. Couldn't hurt to ask?:)

That truly sucks.
I despise dent.

However, I have been saving up for a one time visit.

Over this summer I have managed to:

Backed into a wall.
Drop an unprotected car wash wand on the hood.
Have a 3' piece of 2" EMT conduit fall from the attic onto the rear quarter panel.
Taken a large piece of semi truck re-tread to the front bumper.

Sorry to hear about your weather damage. Hope that custom paint isn't too hard to repair.

I'm heading to Seattle on the 27th for a week. I sure hope the weather lightens up.

BJ, sorry to hear about the storm damage - that's a real bummer. I'd see if a paintless dent repair place could pop out that dent on the door pillar. Do the scratches go through the paint?

Ouch! BJ, it makes me sick to see the damage to your car. You've got one of the most distinctive and good looking Marauders on the road. Get her all back in shape quickly, my friend. Keep us posted on your progress.
