Back in 2004 our local dealer got in a silver Marauder. It was beautiful. It sat around for 3 or 4 months before somebody finally bought it.

I never saw the car around locally, I figured somebody out of town had purchased it perhaps. WRONG!

I think I saw it over the weekend. I am pretty sure it's the same car. And Grandpa was driving it.

Needless to say the car has not been taken care of. Front bumper damaged. Rear bumper damaged. The entire right side has bounced off a guardrail or something. Doesn't look like it has ever been washed. The front wheels are dark brown from all the brake pad dust. The rear wheels are light brown from the brake pad dust accumalation. The car has no shine whatsoever. One of the exhausts is shoved up almost out of sight. It was missing the passenger side headrest for whatever reason. And best of all, half the front grill was missing.

Remarkably, looking in the driver's window, the interior looked just like new. The car probably didn't have 10,000 miles on it from the looks of the interior.

It would probably take $8,000 to $10,000 to restore the exterior back to pristine condition. Such a shame! :mad2:

I have a MM like that here in Baker County.
It's black, and constantly dirty.
It's just a car to the owner...
