I have the Pro Racer package, and love it. You have total control over the powertrain. It works extremely well.

i have an Xcal2.. i love it. you can use the extreme tune software to adjust things beyond what the xcal2 can do on the device itself.

I had the 9100 with an N/A tune calibrated for 4:10's.
I sent it to Lidio for some refining and now I am using thier single bank chip that came with the Trilogy kit.
Both products though I like the tuner better, perform well in all conditions.
The contacts on the circuit board have a resin coating that has to be removed so the chip can make contact.
On My Trilogy install , that was the only issue I had.
I had not cleaned the (edge of the circut board)terminals well enough to make a good contact.
The first turn key nothing happened, called Chuck and Claude, figured out what to check.Tried recleaning the terminals, and bingo!
The car started and ran fine, It just set a check engine light on.
I guess three tries cleaning the resin off the board was the charmer, finally was able to remove the cel.
Pros and cons: acess to the chip is a little more difficult than a hand held
The loading time was a bit longer with the hand held tuners.
The ex-cals'
more recent versions load much faster than the 9100, I used before.

Xcalibrator2 from Dennis Reinhart is what I use. Came with 93 octane performance tune and performance tune for 4.10 gears already loaded from DR. Easy to use, easy to return to stock tune if necessary. Lidio also has an excellent rep.

I have an XCAL2. I got it with my SuperCharger from DR. It is set up for 3.55's, 4.10's, Valet Mode, Race Gas and Bad Gas.

Before I had the XCAL2, I had a SCT Chip from Lidio. I sold it when I got the XCAL2 due to the ease of updating Tunes.

According to the seller, the tune is only good for the 04 and I have an 03. Is this accurate?

Yes, you would need to change the tune to your computor, one of 2 different tunes. The 04' has a third and different computor. But, you can replace the tune with the correct one.
