Is a top notch experience. Everytime I call for something I get their full attention and Dennis or Jackie are happy to help. So if you want a good tune, some parts or a consultation about something you have or may buy, give them a shout.

Just thought I'd mention it...

Yep. In Seymour, Dennis was kind enough to perform some 'tweaking' on a few of our cars prior to heading home.

This on his time, Sunday and no charge!

Thank you for the compliments. I am far from perfect. I have strived to improve my customer service. The biggest improvement I have made is hire a secretary. This allows me to spend quality time on my phone, with old and new customers, over 30% of my calls are people asking questions, not buying any thing, when you are on the phone all day long, it can and does drain you, so yes there are times it shows, but again we are trying to do the best, and we appreciate your calls and business.

Hey Sam;

That's real considerate of you to provide this positive feedback. Members looking for sources of parts, info, services are always hunting for recomendations.

I too have had good experiences with DR Automotive, I know some haven't.
However, Dennis is very helpful in person and willing to share his expertise with us jeeps. His team at the shop is very competent and knowledgeable.

I approve of this message - PAT

All my experiences w/ Dennis have been rewarding.

Dennis is tenacious and innovative.

I remember when Dennis was the only one who was developing products for the MM, quite a gamble when you look at the low sales figures.

I have raced sailboats, also low production, at times at a high level, and I know what R&D is for a low volume performance product. The risks are high.

Nothing but good things to say about Dennis...He dropped what he was doing to help me and my MM has ran excellent ever since...I have tried several tunes and his is the best as far as max power goes...

I met Dennis through this web site back in 2002.

I was a distrusting, cautious, and suspicious customer, who took all of his advice back into my real world, and confirmed everything he said against real world evidence, everything.

I was not disappointed once. His advice proved to be correct at every turn. Solid words, and his "deals" have proven to be good investments.

I earned his friendship the hard way, likewise, he earned my friendship that same way.

He is today a dear friend to me, and I have driven 1100 miles to spend some time with him just hanging out and having fun. I'll do that again at the next opportunity too.

When it's time for me to spend money on my Marauder, I gladly spend it with Dennis first.

I'll agree with ^^^^^...I went to DRs shop for 4.10s install Tuesday after MV IV and he was holding the helm by himself. Jackie was really sick that day and took off work. He was juggling:

mechanical work and dyno tuning on my car
multiple deliveries throughout the day
customer assistance with mod questions
customer satisfaction by assisting on a customer's problem with another vendor shipment error.
a car with alternator problems
taking care of 300A bad axle warranty issues
and a problem from MV IV;).

And he had me out of there in a reasonable time. I would have been on a short fuse that day, but Dennis held his calm. Can't beat that!!

Not to mention sending me replacement Ford axle seals to replace the new ones from the axle replacement kit that were fine for the first few days after 4.10 install that decided to leak on my ~900 mile journey home.

You never really know any one, just when you think you do, they will do some thing to convince you that you never really knew them at all. I hope every one has a good weekend.

You know, this thread has gotten a little off track, but I'll tell ya...

Dennis is an old Navy guy and has that no-nonsense attitude. No fluff, no BS, no sugar coating. He knows his ****nit and if he don't, he ain't afraid to find out. I'd rather have no-nonsense than smoke blown up my *!

Way back, when I first started modding, Dennis got my business, just cuz he was the ONLY ONE who would actully answer THE DAM PHONE! Since then, I have had the fortune to come to call Dennis, Sheila, Jackie, Steve and Edwin friends. Once again, this car brings folks together.

Even my daughter, Jamie (now 13) asks what kind of car she could get that DR could mod for her!

If you call DR, be ready for the RIGHT answer, the RIGHT parts, and be ready to make a friend.
