View Full Version : Turn lamp indicators blinking fast...

My left turn signals are blinking at twice normal speed, but neither of the lamps are actually out yet. Should I replace both, or just wait for one of them to go before replacing it? Kind of strange - every other car I've ever owned has a lamp actually go out before the signal starts blinking fast.

I believe that when it blinks fast it indicates that you need to replace them.
I may or may not be right.

I'm just wondering which one since both are actually still working...

Had this problem on the Kenny Brown #1x Marauder for the last six months before I sold it. Never resolved the problem, no one ever answered my question with a fix. No bulbs blown out either. This remains unsolved today.

I believe it's your multi function switch (MFS) - the turn signal stalk.

My 2000 CVPI sometimes does the same thing, but it usually doesn't happen very often. Annoying problem to say the least.

One signal will blink faster than the other if a light bulb is out.
Check the tail light there are two bulbs in it one may be out.

there is less load on the circut (cause a bulb is out) so the canister clicks faster, and the indicator lamp goes faster

"Fingers crossed?"
