So yea I'm in need of a factory black grill....

This morning I left early for a friends home. We were meeting up to go hunting. Well not being 100% awake we pulled in to my buddy's driveway behind is "sneaker" F-350 repo truck. It has a lift thats hidden under the rear bumper. It has 2 arms that sometimes swing out as he drives (bout 2ft long and 2" squares). Needing to park closely to the back of his truck I inched in. I didn't see them out (driveway slopes down and couldn't see over the hood) and *CRUNCH* The wife and I let out a nice "WHAT THE $%@$%@" Thank god the arm just broke through the grill. It didn't hit anything else like the hood or bumper. I got WAY Lucky.

So morral of the story. Don't park close behind sneaker repo trucks or you're car will have missing teeth and look like Larry the Cable Guy. ****!!! :mad2:

Sorry to hear about the damage, bro. Zack makes some fearsome badgeless grills. I've got one that I'll be putting on as soon as I get my hood and bumper repainted to repair four and half years of daily driver rock chips. Zack's work is really first rate. If you're interested in seeing what it looks like give me a ring, I'd be happy to show you.

I would go with one of Zach's grills but I don't have the cash for that...

I hear ya. If you're looking for good pricing on a new grill I'd recommend checking with Ray the dealer. Good prices for our club members from Ray.

Good luck!

No dammage to the radiator either right?

Perhaps the "right" person could fix your grille back to stock???

Maybe with some superglue. :)

I threw the pieces away. Guess I shoulda saved them huh?

It didn't go in far enough to hurt the radiator. I was just barley inching in to normally park. When I heard the crunch and backed up 3 of the teeth are missing. It also cracked one of the tabs. I'm guessing this was when I backed out it grabed them and pulled.

I called my buddy at the local dealer and the "insiders" price for it was 135 I believe. I found one on ebay for 87+39 shipping. I'm gona get that one ordered. Lesson learned but thank god it was a cheap one. I still thank god it wasn't the hood or bumper. I literally would of cry'd.
