Cecil County Dragway in Maryland. I wonder if Defyant, MarauderMark or any of the CAM gang have seen this guy/car in action??

They were at the SSOTN event a few weeks ago when I was running MadMax06. I think he was running 10.30s that day. That car looks wicked in black with the stripes and the drag wheels.

For the few amount of BOLT ONS...that car is crazy fast.

I want one :D

I was about to say that. It's very minimal mods wise and it's in single digits. The humanity!

Pretty sweet, it should be interesting to see where they go with the KB 2.8 installed. :burnout:

Low 9's with the right automatic I'd say.

Is that car available with an automatic?

Sticks are a lot of fun if you like that sort of thing, but they're really better for circuit track racing. They lose a lot next to the guy running an automatic in a drag race. Did you notice the guy with the Buick GN in that 9 sec run? My guess is he was in the 10's and he's (probably) running a Turbocharged 3.6L V6 with an automatic.

What I'd be doing with that car is putting on a really superior suspension system like I have on Quicksilver now. Brakes, DA shocks, solid control arm bushings. Now that would be an awesome stunt car!

If I were'nt 6'5" tall I might think of getting one.

Maybe if I replaced the seat...

...Naaaah! I'm too old for that sort of thing. :D

Nope, they are all 6 speeds

 Well said about autos, but you're wrong about one thing...

You're never too old for drag racing! :burnout:

You're right, it will be interesting if the KB will make more power, or if the Roush Charger is the way to go. I'm sure the KB will out do the Roush, but ya never know. The Roush doesn't void the warranty either.

I friend of mine is 6'6" and he owns an 05 Mustang GT. They have much more room than the previous mustangs. I would imagine that the GT500 would probably have more side bolsters and that might hinder you a bit, though.

Nice video, but I hate the music... a lot. I loved the plurge from the Cobra.
