You should definately demand OEM replacement glass.
Jessica had her Vator shield replaced and they put aftermarket glass in it.:censor:
Call Ray for that info tomorrow.;)

I agree with Barry, always request ( demand ) factory glass.

While you are at it.
I think the rear view mirror in the MM and many Fords is way to low and blocks visibility to the drivers right front, and I am only 5' 10".
When I had my windshield replaced, I had them raise the rear view mirror 2'' on the glass. No charge. They just trimmed the little plastic wire cover.

I'm gonna get the OEM. Insurance adjuster told me price should be equivalent to American Glass. Were there two types of OEM windshields, I thought I saw some threads regarding a dot matrix vs tinted?
Unfortunately, the car is at the body shop and I can't get the part number.
I'll contact Ray for pricing.

Great idea...I am six feet and sit as low as the seat will go and still have to duck my head around the darn rearview sometimes.

I almost hit other cars because the mirror is in my view. I'll mention the move to the shop.

If you use "Ford 2003" for your search, the result shows a winshield for $168.10, but they don't show the part number.. be careful. Also, early 300A's may have to use 2002 as the year. I tried search by using the part number with and without spaces and no items were found.
Thanks for the parts link....I've been trying to find a good comprehensive parts catalog online with pictures.
