Okay - here's a question for the assembled multitude (er, 'hundredtude'?) I was thinking about as I wait for KB to finish my car (probably mid-July).
I'm going to put in a car kit for the cell phone. The car kit has a "mute" circuit, which is designed to trigger the radio mute for those radios that have a 'mute' feature (the Kenwood in the Land Crusher has such a feature).
Well, there's a "mute" button on the front of the radio - which caused me to wonder if that circuit is available at one of the connectors at the back of the radio, so I could attach the trigger wire. Then, when the phone rings and as long as I am on the call, the radio is muted.
Has anyone got enough knowledge (or can get it) about whether this circuit exists?
[FYI: I have the service CD - no help, although it made interesting reading for about an hour]
